Jennifer set her sights on the law at a young age. “I’ve wanted to be an attorney since I was 13. I’ve always thought it was an interesting and challenging way to help people.”

After earning her degree in Criminology and Political Science summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, she graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, where she worked as a research assistant for the Dean of the college. Jennifer was admitted to the Minnesota bar in Fall 2011.

Jennifer brings energy and compassion to her work, assisting clients with their personal matters, including family law and criminal issues. “I enjoy working in these fields, because of the intellectual side of things — I like to pick apart the arguments and find a way to help my client. That’s something I’ve always found intriguing,” she says.

While helping people with their immediate legal needs is satisfying, so is helping individuals plan for the future, which Jennifer does by assisting with the planning and preparation of estate documents, including wills, trusts, healthcare directives (living wills) and powers of attorney.

Away from the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her new husband (not necessarily in that order). Her interests are as diverse as polka and yoga, cooking shows and Russian kettlebell.
