Bobbi combines legal savvy with a scientific mind, entrepreneurial experience, and an infectiously positive attitude.

“My undergrad degree is in biology — most people don’t go into law with that background. But I like numbers and hard science, which often works very well in a legal setting,” she says.

Bobbi earned a B.S. in Biology, emphasizing in Ecology, along with a minor in Psychology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her law degree was obtained through the University of St. Thomas, School of Law in downtown Minneapolis.

She understands the needs of business firsthand, after running her own Minneapolis solo practice prior to joining SeilerSchindel.

Since joining the firm in 2010, Bobbi has worked on a variety of transactional and litigation matters, including start-ups, business ownership agreements, real estate, estate and family planning, and family/matrimonial law.

“At SeilerSchindel, I try to build personal relationships with our clients. We work long and hard, but we have fun at the same time and do it with a sense of camaraderie,” she says.

Bobbi is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers, serving on the Public Policy Advocacy Committee. She is also a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association, its Solo/Small Firm Section, and a council member of its Practice Management and Marketing Section. She also volunteers for or is otherwise involved with the Citizens League, the Downtown Network, the Sierra Club, Forum for Women in the Environmental Field, Volunteer Lawyers Network and others.

Upon stepping out of the office, Bobbi enjoys spending time with family — especially her two nieces – and friends. She enjoys playing tennis and attempting to golf, as well as antiquing, hosting foster dogs, and you might catch her at First Avenue on any given Saturday (or Tuesday) night.
